My stay at the Palms Casino Resort was a mixed bag. On one hand, my room offered lovely views and was clean, while the staff in the spa were attentive and friendly. However, the room cleanliness upon check-in was a huge letdown; I found hair on the bathroom floor and dirty glasses left unattended. The attitudes of some staff members also left a lot to be desired, particularly when I requested assistance. Overall, while I appreciated the views and a few highlights during my stay, the service issues were significant enough that I'd hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Rooms

My corner king junior suite had an very nice view and was spacious. However, the initial cleanliness was unacceptable with unclean carpets and hair scattered about.
Service

While I had pleasant interactions with some staff, like those in the spa, several experiences were marred by indifferent service and attitudes, particularly when I raised concerns about my room.
Location

The location was convenient, making it easy to access the Strip, and the views from my room were amazing, especially at night.
Dining
6.0
Dining experiences were a mix; although the food was decent, service in the restaurants could be hit-or-miss, affecting my overall enjoyment.
Facilities

The pool area was impressive and provided a relaxing atmosphere, but my overall satisfaction was hampered by room maintenance issues.

My stay at the Palms Casino Resort was a mix of highs and lows. The room was spacious and had impressive views of the mountains and Las Vegas strip. but I encountered issues with cleanliness during my stay. Dining options were diverse and delicious, especially the barbecue at Maybel's. yet some aspects of service could improve.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was large with fantastic views. However, I noticed cleanliness issues, especially with hair and chips left on the floor. It definitely needed more attention.
Service

While the staff was friendly and tried to help, there were significant lapses in service during check-in. such as encountering overbooking issues. It was frustrating and overshadowed the beginning of my stay.
Location
6.0
The location was convenient, not far from the Las Vegas strip, making it a great base for exploration. though the walk from the parking lot to the lobby wasn't the best experience.
Dining

I enjoyed the variety of restaurants available. Maybel's BBQ stood out with its fantastic burnt end brisket. but I found some items at the buffet during brunch to be overpriced and not freshly served.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities were solid, with a lively casino and a well-equipped fitness center. but I did face challenges with housekeeping that could have been resolved better.

My stay at the Palms was a mixed bag. The View penthouse was amazing, with stunning decor and very nice service, especially from our butler, James. However, I encountered significant issues with WiFi connectivity and unexpected charges, which dampened the experience.

James, our butler, went above and beyond to assist us during our wedding weekend. His friendly demeanor and prompt assistance were highlights of our stay.

The Palms is not on the Strip, but it offers a clean and classy escape with excellent amenities, making it feel like a hidden gem.
Dining

The food at the 'Moon' was some of the best I've had at a wedding. The service was impressive as well, with our bartender anticipating our needs.
Facilities

While the amenities were generally good, I faced frustration with the ineffective WiFi, causing delays in communication. Also, the unexpected charges for room service were disappointing.

I had a great stay at the Palms Casino Resort, loving the spacious and clean room on the 18th floor with fantastic views of the Strip and mountains. The vibrant casino environment and friendly staff made my experience enjoyable, although I was a bit disappointed with the lack of in-room coffee/tea facilities. The location is slightly off the Strip, which I appreciated for the quieter atmosphere, but it could be inconvenient for those wanting quick access to the main attractions.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and well-kept with plenty of amenities, but it lacked coffee-making facilities which would have been nice.
Service
7.0
Staff were consistently friendly and attentive, always ready to help, though I did encounter a less friendly check-in experience.
Location

The hotel is a bit removed from the Strip, making it quieter and more relaxing, but it takes about 10 minutes by Uber to get to the action.
Dining
9.0
The food options were diverse and delicious, with some standout experiences at The Lucky Penny and Greene Street Kitchen.
Facilities

The casino and facilities were extensive and entertaining, with cool amenities like a bowling alley, though the pool area was under construction during my visit.

My stay at the Palms Casino Resort had its ups and downs. The staff was incredibly friendly and made my engagement celebration nice, surprising my partner and me with champagne and strawberries (such a nice touch!). However, I faced some issues with noise and cleanliness in the room, which detracted from the experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in, while spacious, had cleanliness issues, including a stained pillow (a downside for sure). I appreciated the stylish renovations, but I wish there had been basic amenities like a coffee maker.
Service
8.0
The service from the staff was commendable. They were friendly and attentive, going out of their way to rectify my initial displeasure with the room view. I felt well taken care of overall.
Location
8.0
The resort is conveniently located near the Strip, making it easy to access other attractions. I frequently opted for Uber to avoid traffic congestion, which worked well for my plans.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the diverse dining options available. The buffet had a nice selection of food (great for a hearty breakfast before a day out), and the Lucky Penny Cafe was a tasty spot for quick bites.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities were decent, though the noise from the pool area could be overwhelming at times. I found the atmosphere at the quieter pool more to my liking it was like a peaceful escape from the hustle.
